Understanding and supporting eating difficulties in autistic children
An autistic child who struggles with food isn’t being difficult with food, they’re having difficulty with it. That’s easy to miss, and easy to worry about. From sensory food selectivity to ARFID and PICA, the picture is usually more complex than fussy eating, and the adults around a child are often left unsure how worried to be, or what to do about it.
This recorded CPD session helps you understand what might be going on for a child, and gives you calm, practical first responses you can use straight away. It draws on professional expertise, evidence and lived experience.
