These slides were developed for a school staff talk in Kent in July 2023.
Here’s the session overview:
Enabling Neurodivergent Students to Thrive
Step into the shoes of neurodivergent students and understand the school experience from their point of view. We’ll explore the day-to-day challenges of life in school, both in the classroom and beyond and consider why and how we can make simple adaptations to our daily practice, culture and environments to enable neurodivergent students to attend, enjoy and succeed.
If you were there, I hope these are a helpful aide-memoire. If not, I hope they make enough sense without me to be useful. If you’d like to download them, you can do so via this page on slideshare.
